RaceTec™ Pistons was founded by Wayne Brooks, and is his second venture into the piston manufacturing industry. In addition to owning a successful aerospace manufacturing company for years, Wayne was an avid racer. He has always modified engines, and has raced everything…boats, motorcycles, even airplanes.
Wayne was very competitive in Grand National boat racing and began having issues with the pistons he was using. After trying every piston on the market, he could not find a manufacturer that could meet his needs. Wayne re-invisioned what a next gen piston manufacturer looked like and birthed RaceTec pistons.
