All Milodon pick-ups feature exclusive design foot on the pick-up bottom. This assures that in all cases, the engine can never be starved of oil due to insufficient pick-up to pan floor clearance. This can be caused from running over an object, which dents the pan or pan floor flex that is seen only in operation and may otherwise go unnoticed (to all except your bearings). Care must, however, be used so as not to load the pick-up by having it push into the pan floor upon installation. This will most likely result in eventual breakage of the pick-up or cracking of the pan.
