  • Harland Sharp is the leader in roller rocker arm technology. Back in the 1950as, Harland Sharp invented the first high performance rocker arm. The larger cams were contributing to the failure of stock rocker arms. Harland Sharp responded to racers needs by pioneering a design for the first high performance rocker arm. It launched roller tips and bronze bushings overcoming a huge hurdle to increased engine performance and reduced friction. In the 1960as, Harland Sharp continued to improve his initial rocker arm design. A new needle bearing fulcrum and roller tip continued to add horsepower and reduce friction in the racers engines. Harland Sharp continued to improve their design by introducing the first 7/16a Stud Small Block Chevy Rocker Arm. Harland Sharp added beefier bodies, bearing journals and trunions to keep up with growing horsepower demands. Harland Sharp original series rockers for SB Chevy are a narrow body design and work with late model center bolt valve covers. If you are using a late model LT1/LT4 self aligning cylinder heads, you will need to install pushrod guideplates for the rockers to work properly.
